Rue du 8 mai 1945 76470 LE TREPORT / Côte d'Albâtre

Dug out of the chalk cliffs of the Alabaster Coast, the impressive Kahl-Bürg was built by the Germans after Operation Jubilee, the raid that took on the beaches of Dieppe in 1942.

In the heart of the limestone cliffs of the Alabaster Coast and a few kilometres away from where the Dieppe Raid took place, the Kahl-Bürg is located 60 metres above sea level, about twenty metres below the ground and is 270-metres-long. Among its thirty rooms, visitors will be able to explore three observation posts, a firing post with its 75mm gun, as well as a command centre. With an average room temperature of 11°C (52°F) whatever the season, don't forget to wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes to enjoy the visit.
