We invite you to discover the castle of Vatteville-la-Rue in virtual reality.
Vatteville was an important stronghold in the Middle Ages: located on the banks of the Seine, it had a port with dense traffic dominated by the castle, whose architecture is quite original since it is found mostly in England. Traces of it remain today, more precisely those of a keep and a large hall. Built at the end of the 11th century, this castle was involved in a revolt against the King of England and Duke of Normandy Henry I Beauclerc, was besieged and partially demolished, and was rebuilt in the 12th century.
