Located in the north-east of Normandy, in the Bresle Valley, Romesnil Château invites you to an intimate and lavish experience. The 18th century manor house was built by the Prince of Dombes, Louis-Auguste de Bourbon, Louis XIV's grandson. Owner of the Forest of Eu, the young prince would use this chateau as his hunting lodge. Explore its English-landscape park as well as formal French park that has preserved its original basin, not to forget sand paths typical of French garden designs. Let's travel back in time!
This elegant brick and stone building comes after a park and an imposing cour d'honneur enclosed by a beautiful gate dating back to the 18th century and whose pediment still bears the initials of the Prince topped with the Royal Crown. The French-landscaped garden has kept its original basin and has restored its boxwood topiaries. Winding paths take visitors towards the English-landscaped garden, in the midst of perennial beds.
