In the forest of Eu, in Campneuseville, the V1 bomber launching site and is now a memorial and reminder of the bombings carried out by the German army during World War II.
Located between the Bresle Valley and the Yères Valley, the Luftwaffe had not chosen this site just by chance to build its bases. The long and dense forest of Eu, the railway line and the numerous forest tracks provided favourable conditions!
Explore at your own pace the remains of 19 V1 launching pad sites built in our area as well as sites steeped in history, just like this one in Campneuseville or the one in Guerville.
Information panels provide key information to visitors who can visit the site all year round with unrestricted access. Guided tours (extra charge) are also available at the Tourist Information.
