Château de Bosmelet et la collection Alain Germain
3160 Route du Bosmelet 76720 AUFFAY / Pays de Caux
Besides the park and garden with its three-hundred-year-old lime tree avenue, Bosmelet also offers an unexpected visit of a 17th century manor house, home to Alain Germain’s sumptuous collection of paintings, costume designs, opera props, stage backdrops, etc.
At the border of the Pays de Caux and the Pays de Bray, between Rouen and the Alabaster Coast, a stone's throw away from Auffay and its collegiate church, Bosmelet Château, a beautiful example of Louis XIII architecture (listed a Historic Monument), stands in the centre of the longest three-hundred-year-old lime tree avenue in Europe.
You will also see Alain Germain's collections (costume designs, sculptures and painted backdrops) and temporary exhibitions in the chapel.
